You found an under-utilized area of your museum. It could provide a great place for a kids creative play area! Below I have some items you may purchase (affiliate links) or use for inspiration. Some things I kept in mind when creating these lists:

  • I did not put floor mats or carpets because I do not know what your insurance covers.

  • You are responsible for the proper installation of the toys and if anything needs to be secured to a wall that it is secured properly.

  • I tried to find ones that also have limited pieces or easier storage area.

  • I have items generally grouped by theme but you can mix and match to your liking!

Have fun planning! If you want an in-depth conversation on what to purchase or create The Reference Desk would be a great option for you!
